§ 50-14. Illegal parking; fines.

(a)

The following parking practices in the city are declared to be illegal, and any violations of such parking restrictions shall subject the violator to the specified fines:

Parked on a sidewalk	$80.00
Left wheels to curb	$60.00
Boat trailers only	$60.00
Improper parking	$80.00
No parking zone	$60.00
Keys in ignition	$60.00
Fire lane/zone	$80.00
Permit/decal only	$60.00
Lot closed	$80.00
Commercial vehicle restrictions	$250.00
Parking in a regulated permit parking area without a permit	$90.00
Double parking	$80.00
Motor running with vehicle unattended	$80.00
Disabled parking	$250.00
Loading zone	$80.00
Parking of boats, campers and recreational vehicles on city rights-of-way	$90.00
Blocking driveway	$80.00

 

(b)

Each two-hour interval of violation of overtime parking shall be a separate violation.

(c)

The city manager is hereby authorized to establish restricted parking zones for any of the above violations.

(d)

The amount of any parking citation fine shall be doubled if not paid within 15 days of issuance, unless a court hearing has been requested within the time specified on the parking citation.
